We are looking for a capable and responsible Administrative Assistant for our Contractor Sales Team. The position will require the team member to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to assist in the efficiency and performance of the department.

Responsibilities include data entry, ordering of products, preparing reports, customer service, answering phone calls, assisting in daily office needs, managing general administrative duties and maintaining appropriate filing systems. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools like MS Office. If you also have previous experience as a Secretary or Executive administrative assistant and familiarity within our industry, we’d like to meet you.

Ultimately, a successful Admin Assistant should help ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our Contractor Sales Team.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Assist sales team with building material sales
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Data entry involving purchase orders and special orders
  • Develop and maintain a filing system
  • Generate purchase orders to vendors
  • Generate special orders for customers
  • Provide great customer service in person and over the phone
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a team of contractor sales staff

Requirements

  • Ability to operate networked computer system and specialized software application programs
  • Proficiency in multi-line phone systems, faxing, scanning, printer, copiers, 10-key
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Proficient computer skills including word and excel
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and learn quickly
  • High School diploma
  • Some knowledge of building materials would be desirable

We are searching for a delivery driver for Angeles Millwork & Lumber Co. & Hartnagel Building Supply

Available for weekends,  great attitude, great customer service, and Class B CDL w/Air Brake Endorsement required.

Duties:
To provide truck deliveries and in-yard customer service.

  1. To perform daily pre-trip inspections of vehicles.
  2. To efficiently unload and stock in-bound freight.
  3. To efficiently and accurately build customer delivery loads on company vehicles.
  4. To ensure yard cleanliness for safety and appearance.
  5. To responsibly use and maintain yard equipment.
  6. To efficiently and accurately load customer purchases in customer’s vehicle.
  7. To know and follow company policy and procedures.
  8. To solicit leadership as the situation requires for the purpose of improving effectiveness.
  9. To consistently demonstrate teamwork, effective communication, dependability, flexibility and professionalism.
