These 2-3/8" x .113 8d "Cooler" 21 degree smooth shank vinyl coated plastic strip collated nails are designed for building crates or pallets, and are thinner and narrower at the tip to prevent splitting. They are suitable for general construction and framing, subfloors or sheathing where framing nails may be too long or heavy. The 21 degree nails have a round full head compared to typical 30 degree nails with a clipped head.
