For draining water system to prevent freezing when water is turned off. 2-stage screening process. Prevents grit from siphoning back in pipes. Use in vertical or horizontal position. Also serves as a vacuum breaker. 1/2 In. MPT (male pipe thread) connection. Relief pressure approximately 4 psi (pounds per square inch).
