Irwin 1/16 In. Cobalt Pilot Point Drill Bit

Industrial M42 grade steel with 8% cobalt for drilling in stainless steel, abrasive metals, and other hard to drill alloys. Pilot point, 135 deg (degree) split point design penetrates immediately and prevents walking. Parabolic flute design for improved heat dissipation and increased life. No spin shank eliminates bit slippage. Jobbers length. Sizes 7/16" and 1/2" have a 3/8" reduced shank.
