Our policies and certain state or federal laws may require that the vehicle used to tow rental equipment and trailers meet certain duty and safety requirements.

Requirements for this item:

• Item weight: 0 lbs
• Your tow rating must exceed the total weight of trailer and items
• Brake controller required: No
• Trailer wiring connector: 7-pin (preferred) (call to check 4-pin compatibility)
• Tow vehicle must be in good condition
  • Tires should have sufficient tread
  • Tires should be properly inflated
  • Suspension in good condition
  • Vehicle and hitch free of structural damage that may hinder safe towing

Vehicle inspection:

We reserve the right to inspect your vehicle prior to releasing the rental equipment into your possession. Should your vehicle fail to meet any of the above requirements we will not proceed with the rental.

Additionally, if rental department staff identify any other safety concerns during the vehicle inspection - even if that concern is not listed - we reserve the right to terminate the rental contract. Please call for clarification if you feel your rental may be impacted by this policy.

Engine Hour Limitations

All of our heavy equipment is maintained at regular intervals based on hours used. In an effort to offer competitive pricing commensurate with the customer's use of the equipment, our rate structure for heavy equipment is based on both the time you have the equipment in your possession and the number of hours that equipment is in-use.

Max engine hour entitlement based on rental period:

• 4 Hour: 4 Engine Hours
• 1 Day: 8 Engine Hours
• 1 Week: 40 Engine Hours
• 1 Month: 160 Engine Hours

Engine hours over the rental limit will incur additional charges:

Additional charges per hour are equal to one-tenth the daily rate for that item.

Ex. An additional hour on an item with a $200 daily rate is $20.
