For best results, plant seed in the spring or fall when daily average soil temperatures are consistently between 55 degrees Fahrenheit and 70 degrees Fahrenheit, or air temperatures between 60 degrees Fahrenheit and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Water daily or as needed to keep the soil moist for at least 3 weeks or until seedlings reach 2 inches in height.
