For best results, plant seed in the spring or fall when daily average soil temperatures are consistently between 60 degrees Fahrenheit and 75 degrees Fahrenheit, or air temperatures between 65 degrees Fahrenheit and 85 degrees Fahrenheit. Water daily or as needed to keep the soil moist for at least 3 weeks or until seedlings reach 2 inches in height.
