Thin-wall, polyolefin heat shrink tubing ideal for cable insulation, marking, and bundling with superior mechanical, abrasion, and moisture protection. Flame-retardant polyolefin construction resists common fluids and solvents. Repairs, strengthens, and protects cable insulation to ensure strong connections. Ideal for general purpose uses including adding perspiration-resistant grip to tool and sporting handles, or sealing rope ends. Excellent product to repair appliance, extension, or small electronic cords that are exposing bare wires. 600 V/Mil Dielectric strength and 2:1 shrink ratio. Self-extinguishing tubing will not drip, crack, or flow when heated to shrink temperatures. Shrink temperature: 120 Deg (degrees) C (Celsius)/250 Deg F (Fahrenheit) to 250 Deg C/480 Deg F. Meets UL 224, 125 Deg C/CSA C22.2 #198.1, 125 Deg C/MIL-DTL-23053/5, Class 1 and 2, AMS 3636 and 3637/DEF STAN 59-79, Issue 3 Type 2a. 1-inch (25.4 mm) pre-shrink diameter shrinks to 1/2-inch (13mm) diameter post-shrink.
