Premium, versatile coating for the protection of roofing materials, metal, and masonry surfaces. Solvent-free, it is made from asphalt emulsified with bentonite clay and water. Henry 107 Asphalt Emulsion is cold-applied, non-flammable while wet, corrosion-resistant, and waterproof when dry. Henry 107 Asphalt Emulsion will not crack, alligator, run, or sag under extreme weather conditions. It resists most corrosive fumes and spray. Features: For dampproofing exterior below-grade foundations and walls. Protects roofing materials, roofing and masonry. Base coat for energy saving reflective coatings. Crack and alligator resistant. Corrosion resistant and waterproof. Non-fibered. Best-value, versatile protective roof and waterproofing coating. Solvent-free, non-fibered black asphalt, waterproof, non-alligatoring. Usage: For concrete, masonry, steel tanks/coating composition, metal and smooth-surface asphalt built-up roofs. Coverage: Approximately 100 square feet per 3 to 4 gallons (9 m sq. per 11-15 L) when applied as one coat. Approvals and Certifications: Exceeds the requirements of ASTM D-1227-95, Type III, Class I, Dade County Compliant. UL listed for Class A and B fire rated roof coverings. FM approved. Subject to the conditions of approval as a roof coating when installed as described in the current edition of the FMRC approval guide. Precautions: DO NOT APPLY IF RAIN OR TEMPERATURES BELOW 50F ARE EXPECTED WITHIN 24 HOURS. Do not heat container or store at temperatures greater than 110F. When transporting, make sure the pail is secured and the lid is tight to prevent spills. DO NOT ALLOW COATING IN PAIL TO FREEZE. Not recommended over gravel, plywood, rubber, or PVC sheet roofing or shingles of any kind. Typical age limit for roofs to be coated is 7 to 10 years, but varies with roof condition. Application over hot applied asphalt may not prevent alligatoring. Drying: Usually 6 to 24 hours in hot and dry weather conditions. Drying will be slower, 2 to 7 days in cool, damp weather. Allow to dry completely between coats. Coating becomes waterproof only after drying thoroughly.
